North Texas State Hospital is hoping to brighten the Christmas holiday for over 600 clients at the North Texas State hospital, on both the Vernon and Wichita Falls campus’, BUT he needs a little help filling the wish lists…

As you begin preparing for the holidays, the Community Relations Department, along with the Volunteer Services Council, would like to ask you to include North Texas State Hospital clients on your list.

Meeting the wants and needs of patients ages 6 to 90 years of age is a BIG job, but in years past the community has really pulled through.

We would be glad to receive unwrapped gifts as well as monetary donations this holiday season.

If you need help with ideas, here are a few suggestions:
Sweat Suits (children’s to XXXX-Lg. Adults), men’s t-shirts & long sleeve shirts (all sizes), Women’s blouses (all sizes), socks, sock hats, baseball caps, underclothing, pajamas, night gowns, house shoes, crossword puzzle books, large print books and Bibles stationery, jewelry, scarves, Purses, hair accessories, belts, note pads, playing cards, games, puzzles, stuffed animals, coloring books, crayons, colored pencils, watches, men’s & women’s cologne, shower gel, deodorant, lotion, hair care for African American clients, and after shave.
